American Opportunity Tax Credit

Students in Jacksonville University’s online RN to BSN program may be eligible to receive a tax credit for course materials. According to the IRS.gov website, the American Opportunity Credit (formerly known as the Hope Credit) “adds required course materials to the list of qualifying expenses and allows the credit to be claimed for four post-secondary education years instead of two. Many of those eligible will qualify for the maximum annual credit of $2,500 per student." Ask your accountant about this tax credit for your books and tuition or visit the American Opportunity Tax Credit website.

Special Tuition Rates

University Alliance and JU have corporate partnerships with healthcare organizations nationwide. These partnerships often award special tuition rates. Ask your Human Resources or Education Department if your organization is one of our partners.
