The demand for nurse educators is big, and a lack of instructors has led to tens of thousands of qualified nursing school applicants being turned away. When you earn your MSN with a specialization in Clinical Nurse Education, you can become an integral part of the solution, teaching, leading, and mentoring the nurses of tomorrow.
What You'll Learn
Our MSN program, with a 100% online classroom, teaches you human development processes from infancy to adulthood as they relate to learning, provides you with the foundations for student instruction, and shows you how to implement education methods, evaluate clinical resources, and measure outcomes.
You will also prepare for either the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Nursing Professional Development certification or the National League for Nursing’s Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) exam. See sample curriculum here. Find textbooks and materials required for each specific term.
